Visitors to this site can explore artifacts dating back 9,000 years. The site's collection has items relating to Quetico Provincial Park and the surrounding area. The John B. Ridley Research Library at the Heritage Pavilion has a collection of books, photographs and research material on natural and cultural history. Quetico Provincial Park contains the two main transportation routes used during the fur trade in Canada. Lectures, films and interpretive talks are offered from June to the end of August. Off-season programming is available by appointment.
