Adult Workshop - Preparing to Garden

$10 per person plus HST
Novice gardeners will learn all there is to know about starting a garden. This workshop provides a practical overview of soil preparation, essential tools, watering, fertilizing, and weed prevention. Participants will sow early seeds and learn how to care for tender seedlings during the last weeks of cold spring weather. Transplanting and arranging perennial flowers is a workshop highlight. Participants will take home a selection of potted perennials to transplant into their own gardens.
