Halton-Grown: 150 Years of Local Agriculture

Agriculture has always been an essential part of the fabric of Halton Region. On the occasion of Canada’s 150th anniversary Halton Region Heritage Services created this new travelling exhibition that invites visitors to explore the past, present and future of agriculture. Learn about farming in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, take a peek into life on a family farm and discover the wide variety of crops grown in Halton Region. The exhibition has been produced by Halton Region Heritage Services in partnership with the Halton Agricultural Advisory Committee.
