The history of the Muskoka Lakes area is depicted at this community museum. The site explores the local boat-building and water transportation industries and the development of tourism within the context of the original aboriginal population and early settlement of the area. School programs, children's summer programs, weekly summer lectures, adult and children's workshops, research facilities and temporary exhibits are offered at the site.
