Located in beautiful and historic Minden in Haliburton County, the Minden Hills Cultural Centre has been preserving our local heritage and bringing history to life for all ages since 1984. The Cultural Centre includes three parts:

Agnes Jamieson Gallery is a public gallery with visual exhibitions of local and regional art. The gallery has a significant collection of work by André Lapine ARCA (1866-1952) and is open year-round.

Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village is open seasonally for self-guided tours. The village offers six heritage buildings with living history exhibits from May to October. The museum exhibits life in the Minden area at the turn of the century; highlighting the lumber, mining and agricultural industries. Throughout the site are a variety of herb, vegetable and perennial gardens.

Nature’s Place Interpretive Centre is open seasonally.  Visitors can visit a variety of interactive exhibits that explore the unique ecological environment of Haliburton County including information on geological formation, minerals, flora and fauna.
