Dundurn National Historic Site Event

No other meal conjures up images of the Victorian era more than Afternoon Tea. During this workshop, you’ll work with Dundurn’s historic cooks to prepare nineteenth-century recipes next to our wood-fired range. Then, visit Dundurn’s public rooms to discover tea traditions during the MacNab family’s time, and explore below stairs to find out about the role of the servants in preparing and serving tea for family and guests. The workshop concludes with having a cozy early Afternoon Tea all together by gaslight in the historic kitchen.
