The Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Ontario Branch was established in 1944 in Toronto. Today, this volunteer-run organization houses more than 5,000 Ukrainian artifacts, which contribute to Canada's heritage. Artifacts range from the 19th century to the present time and include textiles, folk costumes, jewellery, ceramics, wood carvings, pysanky (Easter eggs) and print materials such as books, maps, stamps and documents.

The museum offers lectures, workshops, travel exhibits, school tours, thematic displays and visiting artists. The Museum Gift Shop carries a wide selection of Ukrainian gift items, including those created by artisans in North America and Ukraine. All proceeds help sustain the Museum.
