Toronto Railway Museum Event

Audio Tour Preview
Until October 27, 2019 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Have you been on a tour of Roundhouse Park with the Toronto Railway Museum yet? Every day this past Summer, we offered guided tours to the public for the first time ever! Although the Summer is over and Fall is in full swing, we are proud to offer a new type of tour to guests at the Museum. Recently developed by our wonderful volunteers, the Toronto Railway Museum is excited to give you an exclusive sneak peek at our brand-new audio tours, which will debut fully in Spring 2020. Now you can experience our guided tour at your own leisure year-round!

The audio tour will take guests on a guided tour around the grounds of Roundhouse Park, where you can immerse yourself in Toronto's rich railway heritage. Walking amongst our rolling stock and our railway buildings, the audio tour will give you a comprehensive understanding how the railways shaped the physical and social landscape of Toronto into the city it is today. Please note that this audio tour is still in its testing phase, and we would greatly appreciate any and all feedback that you may have upon completing the tour!

Access to this exclusive event will take place on Saturday, October 26th, and Sunday, October 27th. Come visit the Toronto Railway Museum and receive a card with a link to the audio tour program, and explore Roundhouse Park using your preferred choice of mobile device. As this tour takes place in the park, we would like to inform attendees that there will be walking over uneven ground, so registrants will need to be prepared for this level of physical activity. Also, as it is Fall, we recommend that attendees dress for the weather due to the tour taking place outside in the park. Public washrooms for the park can be found in the Steam Whistle Brewery.

This event is open to all ages, so come and explore by yourself, with your family, or a group of friends. We look forward to seeing you here!
