Speaking of Wildlife is a traveling Wildlife Education Centre that provides permanent sanctuary to non-releasable Ontario wildlife. Many of their animals have been orphaned, abandoned, injured, or illegally kept as pets and cannot be released into the wild.

Pin says there's no such thing as monsters, but Jab know there's one under the bed. Join these mischievous stuffed toys come to life as they try to solve the mystery of the monster under the bed. Watch as Pin and Jab try to solve the mystery of the monster under the bed. in Pin and Jab: The tale of a monster that totally, really does exist!

Sciensational Sssnakes!!

Meet a variety of snakes native to Ontario with special guests Sciensational Sssnakes!! You'll even get an up-close encounter with an Eastern Garter Snake - the very snake featured in our Canadian Wildlife Photography of the Year exhibit.

Our Wild Neighbours with the KW Humane Society

Friday, March 20, 2020 - 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Learn how to identify local wildlife, help wild animals, and become wildlife ambassadors. You'll also have the chance to practice the safe approach to meeting a new dog. The Humane Society's education dog, Sophie, will be here for a meet and greet! Included with general admission.

Teen Artisan Bread Workshop

Friday, March 20, 2020 - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This workshop for teens will have you create your own artisan bread using natural ingredients! You will learn the steps required to create a sourdough bread, using a mix of seeds and spices that you choose. You will leave with a starter, a loaf you baked at the Schneider Haus, and the dough you created to bake later at home.

Maple Syrup Tasting

Saturday, March 21 and 22, 2020 - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Taste different samples of maple syrup grades, try some homemade maple treats, and watch as our staff boil sap over an open fire as they attempt to make maple syrup the old-fashioned way! Included with general admission.
