Port Burwell Marine Museum & Historic Lighthouse

Make the trip to visit the Port Burwell Marine Museum and Historic Lighthouse in beautiful Port Burwell, located on the north coast of Lake Erie in the Municipality of Bayham, County of Elgin, Ontario, Canada.  

The Museum offers a unique collection of lighthouse lenses including the rotating Fresnel lens, artifacts recovered from Lake Erie shipwrecks, local historic artifacts and harbour photographs.  In front and under restoration is the wheelhouse from a Great Lakes freighter, the Judith M. Pierson. The 1840 wooden Lighthouse offers a 56-step climb to the top for a magnificent panoramic view.  

Open Daily Mid-May to Labour Day, 10am - 5:30pm.  The beautiful beach with free parking is nearby, as well as great restaurants, ice-cream shops, specialty treasure and art shops, camping, bird watching and much more in the area to enjoy.
