The Oxford County Museum School is both a museum and an archives, with artifacts and archival material relating to education dating back to pre-Confederation. The classroom setting of the 1900's provides a hands-on experience of education in southern Ontario, and changing exhibits provide an in-depth look at a variety of historic artifacts.

The Museum School is set in the Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum site where it provides examples of rural education from the 1800's to the mid 1960's.

School groups enjoy the opportunity to attend the 1900 classroom.  Please call to book a class, or to ensure staff is available for your visit.
