A new life, a new beginning...

For British Home Children and Syrian refugees, a new chapter in their lives in a new country (Canada) has had its challenges, opportunities, and hardships. The Osgoode Township Museum explores the shared and differentiating experiences of these two groups of immigrants in their journies to Canada. Our British Home Child and Syrian Refugee exhibit, A New Life: Then and Now, will be opening on Saturday, September 28 to coincide with British Home Child Day in Canada, and runs until December 21.
