Minden Hills Museum has been preserving our local heritage and bringing history to life for all ages since 1984.
 
Journey back to 19th Century Canada by exploring the Minden Hills Museum’s historic village. Experience original structures as they once stood. Explore the Bowron House, the S.S.  No. 9 Stanhope schoolhouse, the Blacksmith shop, the Children's Discovery Zone, and Wee Kirk Church. Tour the Museum’s exhibits located in the Sterling Bank (the first Bank of Minden) and discover Minden’s history and the role it played in the building of Ontario and Canada.
