Magnetawan Heritage Centre located next to the locks in the former Dailey Brothers Power House. We also have a log-cabin with early days pioneer artifacts from the local area. The log cabin was the first library in Magnetawan. Located between the two buildings is a antique stationary steam engine used in logging and farming in the area.

The second Saturday in August is Heritage Day and there are several events going on through out the village. In 2012 the main display will be the history of  Cottages located on Ahmic Lake. Also a  display on the former Women's Institute in Magnetawan.  New addition to our artifacts is a 85 year old birch bark canoe that was used on Ahmic Lake. It is hanging in the cabin. We also have a model of the "Wenonah Steamboat" which was the first boat through our locks.
