Enjoy a day trip to the 19th century market town of Napanee, on the banks of the Napanee River. Begin your discovery at the County Museum and Archives, a historical and geneological resource centre, on the Court House campus. Located in a mid 19th century limestone jail, renovated 1974, the Museum showcases a delightful collection highlighting the story of one of the oldest settled counties in Ontario. Also enjoy the simpe early 19th century elegance of the Macpherson House nearby.
