Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum Event

This year, the museum does not have to transport a display to an offsite location. Instead, the Festival is coming to the Museum so there is even more to see and do!
Dairy Capital Cheese Festival
May 30, 2020 (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

The hugely popular Dairy Capital Cheese Festival is moving to a new location on a new date! The 5th annual festival is moving to the Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum!

Makes sense! Oxford County is the Dairy Capital of Canada, and the Ingersoll area was the cradle of the cheese industry in the country. Come learn more about the cheesy history of Ontario. See a 7,000 pound wheel of cheese! Enjoy samples of award winning cheeses from local cheesemakers, wineries and breweries. Culinary tourists will also enjoy checking out the food and craft vendors all while visiting the museum. Kids have not been forgotten. There is an entire playground waiting for them to clamber over, under and through giant slices of Swiss cheese or to take a spin on a Blue Cheese Wheel.

Partners on the Oxford County Cheese Trail will be on location for this one day licensed festival. Watch for more details about this event.

Want a preview of what to expect? Take part in Big Cheese Days on the four other Saturdays in May and tour the museum and the Cheese Trail partner locations: May 2, 9, 16 or 23. The May 30th festival will be the Mammoth of all Cheese Days!
