WHAT DID YOU BRING? Cherished Immigrant Stories is an inspiring collection of personal stories behind the little treasures hidden in the luggage of immigrants who chose Canada as their new home: photographs, letters, toys and objects of many kinds, loaded with sentimental value. Each personal story, no matter how insignificant it may seem, forms a part of an ever-changing multicultural bridge between what remains as memory of distant and different worlds, and a fresh awakening to a new reality. These stories, told through their own narrative, leave a lasting legacy. One worth preserving.
