Heritage House Museum Exhibition

The Heritage House welcomes you during the haunting season to stir your senses with the atmosphere of a Victorian home mourning its loved ones.  The Museum Study and Parlour will be preparing for a family funeral while museum visitors can get a better understanding of Victorian mourning culture and how that affected day to day life.  Guests will learn about Victorian mourning customs, superstitions, and burial beliefs of our ancestors and how we follow those customs today.
