On Saturday & Sunday, September 29 and 30 make sure you add Halton Region to your Doors Open experience! Prepare to wander, explore and don’t forget to bring your curiosity. We'll show you old fashioned hospitality - Halton style – combined with a wealth of heritage, twist of culture and stunning natural beauty. Hundreds of volunteers and staff in Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills will be working hard to prepare for your arrival to ensure your second to none Doors Open experience. We are waiting to welcome you and showcase the hidden gems we are so proud of (many are traditionally not open to the public.) Historic buildings, museums, private homes, places of worship and cultural venues abound. We promise to provide plenty to see and do that will enlighten, entertain and connect you to our communities. Take a short drive to Halton for your city, town and country experience and build awesome memories with friends and family during the last weekend in September in Halton Region!

Make plans to add Doors Open Halton to your outing this fall; whether for a day or staying overnight with one of our welcoming hosts. Halton Region, just west of the GTA combines small town charm with the amenities of major urban centres and is home to the City of Burlington http://www.tourismburlington.com, the Towns of Halton Hills www.visithaltonhills.ca, Milton www.escarpmentcountry.ca and Oakville http://visitoakville.com.
