Fenelon Falls Museum Program

Our enthusiastic teacher conducts this one-room school using turn of the century curriculum and texts.  Older students practice their penmanship with quill pens and take part in spelling bees while youngsters learn lessons using slates.

At recess children play games such as Rolling the Hoop, Sack Races and the Game of Graces.  Costumed participants hone arithmetic skills, recite poetry, read stories, play with old-fashioned toys and learn historic crafts.
