Fanshawe Pioneer Village Event

Summer Theatre Presents: Sixty-Seven by Adam Holowitz
Until July 27, 2017

An exciting theatrical collage of Canada’s iconic centennial year full optimism and turbulence. From Expo to the FLQ to the powerhouse of Canadian politics Judy LaMarsh.

1967 was a watermark year for Canada. This colourful theatrical collage presents some of the bright, fiery and passionate individuals of Canada 67. Meet federal cabinet minister Judy LaMarsh buried to her waist in a snowdrift. Follow a man whose dream was to drive a sled-dog team from the Northwest Territories all the way to Edmonton. Experience the anger of controversial FLQ member Pierre Vallieres. This was the year that set Canada’s trajectory for the next fifty years.
