Make the "Edison Connection" to Vienna, the hometown of Thomas Alva Edison's grandparents & relatives, where Thomas visited as a young boy.  The museum, boasting authentic artifacts donated by the last surviving Edison descendant in Vienna, Nora Edison Coombe, is a testament to one of the most exciting eras of Canadian history.  The museum is located in an 1853 home on land once owned by the Edison family. A plaque stands on the nearby site of the original Edison homestead and close-by, Thomas Edison's uncle, grandparents and other relatives are buried in the Edison Pioneer Cemetery. The Museum is now closed to the public.  Visit the Edison Museum page at www.bayham.on.ca
