Callander Bay Heritage Museum & Alex Dufresne Gallery Event

On July 1st 1992, during Canada’s 125th celebration, the community of Callander gathered at the North Himsworth Museum (now the Callander Bay Heritage Museum) to fill a case with objects of their present for people of the future to open. Now, 25 years later, the time has come to cut the lock, open the box and step back to the early 90s!

Please join us on Saturday July 1st, during Callander’s annual Funfest celebration, to open the time capsule. It will take place at in the Alex Dufresne Gallery (same building as the museum) from 2:30-4pm.

If you can’t make the actual event, we are hoping to livestream it on Facebook or an alternate website link! So keep an eye out for more details and updates as we get closer to July.
