Rehab Nazzal: Visible

November 6 - January 1

War as a contemporary surveillance concept and its aftermath is explored and revealed by Palestinian-born Canadian artist Rehab Nazzal with sound, video and the photographic image. The artist acquaints the viewer with contemporary war technology and its destructive and deadly effect on civilians, residential dwellings, infrastructures, and the environment

Dipna Horra: Dhunia: Octet

November 6 - January 1

Dipna Horra’s Dhunia: Octet is the latest in a series of sound installation pieces that the artist has been developing over the past four years. Dhunia is a Punjabi word which essentially means “the world.” What is our world and how do we construct, situate ourselves in and view it

Xit-Rm: Rena Sava: Urban Abstraction

November 6- January 1

Urban Abstraction is a new series of works by regional artist Rena Sava that marks the artist’s move from the print-making technique of etching to that of relief printing. Sava uses the unconventional material of Styrofoam to craft her unique ‘fragmented’ landscapes, taking cues from the built environments that we interact with every day.
