Community Museums provide inmeasureable good to the communities they serve, whether they are acting as stewards of a collection, offering public programs, or hosting exhibits.  By doing these things they are preserving memories, sharing stories and providing safe spaces for the sharing of ideas.  In this video, the Brockville Museum explores in more detail what, exactly museums do, and why they do it, using specific examples from the Brockville Museum.
